Prayer: Seeing Jesus

CONFESSION

Jesus, we confess that we do not look to you, or seek you in many ways. In how we think, speak, and act we make you less than you are in our lives, and believe wrong ideas about you.
Jesus hear our prayers.

REPENTANCE

Jesus, in the ways that we miss seeing you, neglect you, or do not rightly think about you, we repent and ask that you would help our vision of you align more with who you truly are.
Jesus lead us.

FORGIVENESS

We ask you to forgive and help us to live our lives rightly in response to you. We want to know you better, more fully, more truly. Thank you for your forgiveness.
Lord Jesus, have mercy.
